You indeed have a photographer's eye. I appreciate your patience waiting for the bird but the end result is really worth it. Excellent reflections. I would give my vote to the B&W image. It suits the mood perfectly.

Beautiful composition, Carlos with sparkling colors. The shape of the frame is unusual (not quite square...) but it doesn't detract from the work which is striking. The game of reflections and sahdows (as in the case of the bird) is splendid.

Preciosa foto Carlos . No leí la nota inmediatamente y flipé con Quintanilla del Coco , ese edificio tan alucinante . La idea es creativa (sé que lo de los charcos y reflejos da para mucho y a veces se abusa de esa técnica o juego , pero en este caso la disposición de la fachada reflejada y al mismo tiempo bañada con esas luces mágicas de atardecer , su perspectiva lavada y diagonal o un poco inclinada y la fijación de la paloma , crean un efecto muy muy bonito)

A vivid composition Carlos. And yes, I agree, the brown warms the image and is an excellent contrast with the coldness of the blue. In this sense the bird was actually a good fit. Indeed, the whole repetoire of colour accentuates the birds feet, for some reason. Thanks for this image - I'm glad you finally posted it.

I'm glad that your friend made you decide to post this one. It's really good! I can see that you are very persistent and have a lot of patience. I would never wait four hours! The photo would be good even without the pigean. With it is excellent. The quality of the image, lighing and colours are very good. I love it!
The b/w version is also intersting, but I like more this one.

Sí, es realmente buena, me gusta cómo has captado la paloma y el edificio con su simetría reflejada en las losas del pavimento. Bien recortada, le has dado una buena iluminación, y tiene una gran definición, es muy limpia.

This one is really good, Carlos, perhaps your best in the Burgos series so far. The architectural reflections in the water puddle on top of the tiled floor would already have made a fine photo by themselves, but the addition of the pigeon (plus reflection) really makes it sing. Very nice work, well done.

this is a fantastic well composed reflection shot with the pigeon and the building, what a perfect exposure, very high quality shot, clear deep natural saturated balanced colors, impossible to improve, the D50 is an excellent camera that surprises me all the time. Good crop to square, I enjoy this one a lot, one of the best reflections I have ever seen here on TE, well put to the Theme.

Hola Carlos. Esta foto es tan buena que no hace falta ni comentarla. Sencillamente es preciosa, muy artística y no es accidental por lo que dices en lo referente a las horas que esperaste. Por eso la elijo cómo una de mis favoritas.
Sólo una puntualización, con perdón. Por mucho que quieras a Quintanilla del Coco, creo que la Plaza de Cataluña, la Gran Vía y la Universidad no están ahí. Creo que posible corregir esto sin dar de baja la foto:
-haces click sobre tu nombre y llegas a ver las críticas que te han escrito
- arriba a la derecha hay tres opciones de menú. A la derecha de Upload, está Manage. Haces click
- buscas la foto de la "colometa" y haces click en Edit. Ya puedes cambiar la ciudad sin perder la foto

Lo que me gusta mucho en esta foto es la facha de la tienda la Sfera, interesante y buena foto, lastima que tuviste que esperar tanto, se hecho parece como que el agua se estaba ya secando,ademas de que no hay suficiete luz y el cielo no se ve tan azul ni nitido, me hubiese gustado mas, poder ver el reflejo completo de el edificio,el cuello del pichon que no se alcanza a ver del todo, asi com el cielo una lastima, pero el resultado es interesante.

Hi again Carlos, this is another exceptional image. Superb sharpness and beautifully exposed. The wet paving stones add a lovely texture to the image as well as providing the means for that great reflection of the building. The colours are excellent - did you improve on them during post-processing? The black-and-version could be a good image with a little more work but I don't think that it is possible to match the use of the colour here. Stephen

this picture is interesting to me due to several facts:

the two reflections are nice and well placed in the image, and the one of the building makes us curious how it looks like !

It is a very cool way how a relatively average-interesting piece of architecture and a common animal together make up a fantastic photo, thanks to your imaginative composition. Very well thought, composed and executed (the reflection!).

Me perdí el chiste del ruso, pero la foto me parece genial.
Entiendo eso de esperar un animal. Me pasó con una abeja a la que esperé 15 minutos (mientras veía cómo bajaba el sol y me empezaba a desesperar) y finalmente capturé lo que quería.
Los colores de tu foto están geniales, el enfoque y la altura del observador también.

Uy que boniiiica! esa palomita por ahi soliiita. Y quien la ha puesto ahi tan bien puesta ?

Bé hem deixo de conyes. Aquesta foto l'he vista moltissimes vegades perque sempre la tens en la teva pagina principal, i finalment avui m'he decidit a comentar-la,...ja se que tens tropecientos punts en aquesta, i que t'han degut dir gairebé tot,...no he lleigit els comentaris. Així que diré que: m'agrada molt. Es original i has sapigut veure-la i fer-la. El que més m'agrada és la composició, entre el basal amb el reflexe i el colom que es passeja. Ben vist! (Esta de peus a terra? o continua volant?,...podriem dir...)

Crystall clear image. Very good cropping to isolate the bird and the reflection. I's immediately appreciated for the fine contrast between the warm colours of the buiding and the gray-blue of the paving-stones. So cute!
