Photographer’s Note
When I saw the daily photo of our friend Luis, I couldn’t resist to associate the subject of this image and play the game of «The Usual Suspect» that he has created.
For those who know Luis, he’s a great guy that you don’t need to have met in person to measure his generosity and passion. From his insightful comments and constructive critiques, you know you’re going to grow and learn, even if he gives you only one point, that makes you look bad, having an uneven score... Everybody knows that you didn’t made unanimity... :-D)
Like I’ve previously mentionned to Luis, I take as a challenge and an opportunity his ever sincere reactions.
By his critiques, you quickly understand that he’s a deeply commited photographer, with words as accurate as his shooting skills. Polyvalent and articulate, he can create great landscapes (although is always shying away from them...), compelling portraits or fascinating streets shots. His open-minded attitude also reflect itself in the diversity of TE members he is collaborating with, that work differs from his own.
A truly dedicated member and pillars of Trekearth.
Thank you Luis and to every other great friends that share their photos and comments, so everyone of us are improving our skills and deepening our passion.
Cheers!

This is a wonderful art work. The colours, the sharpness, the texture on the wall, everything is excellent. And the guy is superb with that bit of cigarette and the headphones on his ears. Now about the note. It is a magnificent tribute to a great TE member. I would say, Luis is the most helpful man on TE. I read every single word of his critiques, I do it several times to make sure that I do not miss nothing. I have learned lots with him. Well done.

Ha,ha, well done Andre. This guy seems much more equiped than the easy going Portuguese ones and even that lack of painting on the all is nothing compared with the grafittis of the other. Although this is an interesting image it's not the most exciting one from you, though. What attract me more here is the detail of the funny puppet on his pockect. But I like very much this tribute to Luís and the idea related with his last post. It's a great pleasure for me to met him and I look forward for more photo sessions with him.
Cheers,
Ricardo

You certainly can't miss seeing him! He has a very purposeful stride and as the street looks clean, perhaps jhe is on his way home. Colourfil sharp and well exposed Andre.

Hi Andre,
He stands out so well against the bland background, and I love the cigarette hanging from his mouth. Great different textures on the street and the wall. A wonderful daily life shot. Black frame really brings out the image well.

Hi Andre! Thanks! :) I am not sure if I deserve such beautiful words but my mother always thought me to receive compliments with an open heart! So thanks. I do my best to share all my knowledge (that is not that much...). Eh! Eh! Cool shot! This guy looks more equipped than my pair and the orange complete suit looks great here! :)
