Vale es numero 500 y es de Quintanilla del Coco, claro. Como dice Oscar - casi se ve tu casa pero no. De todas formas es una foto muy bonita.
No entiendo porque no te dejaron poner las 4 fotos (de donde fuimos contido ?) en lo que es tu album de fotos. Es diferente si lo vendes. Por ejemplo, ya lo se que no tengo derecha vender una foto del viaducto del Millau pero enseñarlo en mi galeria personal - a quien le importa.
Con esta foto dices adios y yo digo hasta pronto.

Hola Carlos!

En primer lugar, no estoy de acuerdo con lo que escribes sobre la foto. Para mi, es espectacular, como minimo, una de tus mejores fotos, con tremenda fuerza! Es una foto perfecta para ese anniversario que deberia ser un dia de fiesta, pero resulta un dia de pena si te quedas con tu decision. Yo creo que tienes que pensarlo de nuevo, caro amigo. No se que puedo hacer para convencerte (si hay algo).

Tu nota me ha hecho entender muchas cosas sobre ti. Tu pregunta sobre Lavrio (uno de esos dias voy a intentar a dar una vuelta por alli, a ver si sale alguna buena foto), tu amor por Grecia, y tu ultima pregunta sobre como hemos descubierto TE. en mi caso fue por pura casualidad. Ojala tuviera algun motivo tan sentimental como el tuyo. Nada mas!

Ha arribat el moment, però com que no m'agraden els comiats, no m'acomiadaré.
La teva última foto, a més de ser de la teva estimada Cocolàndia, és una foto preciosa, per l'ambient tan ben captat després d'una de les típiques tormentes d'agost, on el cel es posa negre i decarrega de tot, aigua, llamps, a vegades pedra. El terra mullat, la senyora que camina de pressa per si torna a ploure, l'Arc de Sant Martí, el cel que fa por, encara molt carregat, i, sobretot, el sol que ja comença a picar l'ullet entre els gruixuts núvols, donant una brillantor al terra y una maca llum sobre la pedra de les cases, tot funciona a la perfecció per donar una gran bellesa i uns colors fantàstics a la teva composició.
Gran treball, i gran galeria, que espero no s'estanqui en el número 500.
Potser més endavant.....

Una excelente imagen, como muchas de tus fotos, pienso que es una buena forma de celebrar tu foto nº 500, al tiempo que inicias una pausa en TE y que espero dure poco.
La foto me gusta mucho y además tengo que decirte que probablemente eres de los mejores fotógrafos de TE en nuestra piel de toro y esta que nos presentas es un ejemplo más de tu buen oficio.

Creo que este no es el momento de criticas, creo que es un momento para decir adios y recordar las cosas pasadas, has sido un buen compañero y guia de tantos buenos momentos aqui a traves de TE. De verdad que me apena verte partir pero se que es por tu bien y tu futuro. Espero que tengas muchos exitos en tus estudios y que de vez en cuando nos recuerdes y ya sabes que tienes un gran amigo en Santo Domingo.
Creo para que no me saquen debo poner algo sobre la foto, la encuentro excelente , una de tus mejores.

Carlos, my friend,
I have been here for 4 years now. How could I ever imagine I would be so attached to the site and to the people I´ve met here. Sometimes people are more important, sometimes the pictures they upload bring not only their visions of the world to me, but also a bit of themselves.

I do not remember if I celebrated any 100th or 200th images, but i remember i celebrated my 4th anniversary here counting the days, a kind of a private joke...

I do not want to interpret this wonderful image as a farewell, because it´s not. you have too much of yourself to offer to the world. your job is precious and blessed the people who live with you around.

Hola dear Carlos! I am so moved by your beautiful note, and, even if you say it is not, SPECTACULAR picture. It is taken with your soul, not only eyes, in the bosom of Cocolandia that feeds your imagination and which gives you a sense of real home and wonderment.
True:
The light.
The street.
The wet floor with the light reflected.
The rainbow.
That woman crossing the street.

And that is exactly what makes the shot so very beautiful!
Carlos, as I am glancing through some of the comments unfortunately only quickly, I am sad to hear that you might be leaving. You have been such a wonderful friend here to me, and to many others for sure. If possible, stay. If you find your calling elsewhere, of course I understand...

PS Yesterday I saw a most most beautiful young woman. She looked like an angel, with a huge shock of blond curly long hair. It took me a while to realize that she had no legs. She was racing her wheelchair very happily, radiating with a big smile, to catch up with a little girl who was running beside her. They were so beautiful. I thought of your shot of paraplegics...

First of all congratulations for this 500th post on TE, impressive number, showing how dedicated you are to this community.
Now the photo, for me it is spectacular. Why? the light reflected on the right side buildings and its interaction with the darker areas makes a nice contrast. The rainbow back there gives interest to the high amount of sky you have included on the photo, then the lady just passing by on the streets of this wonderful little town. Finally all the interesting details of architecture on the houses.

Llevaba bastante tiempo sin parar por TE, hoy por fin he vuelto y por un lado me alegra ver esta imagen que creo sobra comentar porque sin duda es un excelente trabajo, pero también siento pena por tu marcha y no poder disfrutar de tus fotografías en este periodo breve de alejamiento o al menos esperamos que sea breve.
