Photographer’s Note
Cuenca's monumental historic quarter lies beside rocky walls with narrow, medieval cobbled streets, plazas, arches, fountains and impressive historical buildings.
The center of the old town is the Plaza Mayor, presided over by a magnificent gothic Cathedral.

Hi Andre,
Excellent 8 sec exposure. The blue hour was good to you, details are all over and very clear visible. That minor piece of blue light right through the gate tells me this is not a square but real walk through.
I like these extreme wide-angle shots with all those fallen lines, a strong and powerful composition in great light..!!!

Hey André: superb use your pod here - probably the main reason I regret no lugging around that extra 10lbs... a great plaza well suited for your 16-35. have a good week. c

Hey Andre,
Shooting this wide makes this tilt draw my eyes into the image. Lovely golden glow of the building, spectacular evening sky!

One of these days I promise to go out during the blue hour to take some shots in Lisboa. That's what these pictures of you always urge me to do. Let me guess: 16mm? Really amazing. The exposure is flawless. I can almost see you with your tripod there. You really should have warned me you were in Spain... I well could get in my car at meet you over the weekend. Now you have to come to Portugal!!! The definition, the color rendition, the reflections and you even caught a guy standing by that door in the left. This picture deserves much more credit that has got till know.
See you in two weeks. No, I am not going to the ocean. That will have to wait till August. I am traveling to Tuscany.
Stay safe, l.

bon we

Hi Andre - this is one town in Spain I have yet to visit, I always plan to include it in my itinerary but somehow because of its off the beaten track location, I end up going somewhere else, anyway a great night shot, it shows that there is something of interest there beyond the hanging cliff houses.

Bonjour André,
heure bleue ?
Best regards.
Daniel.
