Pamplona (Basque: Iruñea or Iruña is the capital city of Navarre, Spain and of the former kingdom of Navarre.

For Basque nationalists, Pamplona is the historical capital of the Basque Country.

Foundation and Roman times
In the winter of 74-75 BC, the area served as a camp for the Roman general Pompey in the war against Sertorius. He is considered to be the founder of Pompaelo, which became Pamplona. It is thought that it was the chief town of the Vascones, and they called it Iruña, 'the city'. Roman Pompaelo was located in the province of Hispania Tarraconensis, on the road from Burdigala (modern Bordeaux) to Asturica (modern Astorga); it was a civitas stipendiaria in the jurisdiction of the conventus of Caesaraugusta (modern Zaragoza). Although it can not be considered one of the outstanding cities of Roman Hispania, recent archaeological excavations have revealed a quite high degree of development.

Não há dúvida de que a era de glória já passou por aqui há muito tempo. Quanto à foto, a cor sépia foi bem escolhida mas parece-me um pouco pálida. Creio que mais contraste iria beneficiar mais a beleza da imagem.

Olá Elias, acabo por concordar com o António: um pouco mais de contraste iria aumentar o impacto desta imagem, especialmente devido à presença da moldura preta que escolheste bem. Gosto da composição e das texturas, e a luz está bonita, mas sinto necessidade de ver aquelas pedras a saltar mais da parede. De facto, já viram melhores dias, estas janelas...
