Photographer’s Note
Toledo is a fabulous historical city surrounded by the Tagus river. These waters were serving as natural obstacle for the defense of the city.
On the edge of the cliff, you can see the Alcázar of Toledo, a stone fortification, once used as a Roman palace in the 3rd century. It now houses the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Library

An almost Cousin JYR's style postcard, but with more to the yellow tones, while his photos are prone to a more bluish haze.
Composition is so romantic that i will almost think you are in love. Hehehe...

Hi Andre,
A very nice composition with good balance, very nicely saturated colors, fine details and the foreground grasses that give this image a "free spirit" feel. TFS. Gerald

Hi Giant,
You found youself a great spot in taken this image. The grass in the foreground and the leaves on the left make a very nice natural framing. Highlight is of course the castle on the top right....great sharpness there.
The pitoresque bridge and the green grass up on the hill give a nice touch, but also your beautiful blue gradient in the sky. This is really a great exposure in wonderful light.
Take care my friend, Henk

Hi Andre,
A good angle of view here for this picturesque scene, the colours are well saturated and the shot has a nice summery feeling. The fort on the hill is magnificent and I like the strong flowing waters down below, I can see how it would be a good defense. Nicely done!
Regards
Wanda

Andre: perhaps your low key elements are a bit overdone - to my eyes these shadows are a bit over-pronounced. But your framing - always improving - is great here. best, c

Salut Andre,
The building has a very nice location atop the raging waters of the river. I like your perspective in this image because you managed a good balance of elements. The river caught my attention quickly because of the white water but the palace look awesome. I hope to see more images from ths city. Thanks.

Bravo.

An excellent POV! When we visited Toledo in April 2007 it was raining, but even in the rain it is a most interesting city. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Andre.
Good composition and exposure. The polariser is very useful in this photo and the colours look great.
Well done.

Not the typical POV (from which I also shot), hence, I like it.
Good framing and colours as well.
Well done

Hi André,
Nice point of view! It is shameful, but I haven't been in Spain nor in Italy. Well, as a little kid. But not in the past 20 years, while it isn't that far at all. A bit of a shame when I see photographs like this one.
The wide depth of focus worked well here. Good lense! No softness at all on the edges. Nice!
Greetings, Dennis

Bravo
Diane
