These roman colums are what remains of the temple built on the 1st century BC on the Roman city of Barcino. Nowadays these are hidden deep inside the gothic quarter of modern Barcelona.

For locating the place you'd better ask Oscar. He showed me around the old town making it sure I got quite lost, even though I had lived in the city in the early 1990's for a few months.
Thank's Oscar, it was a pleasure meeting you!

Shot at full 10 mm, trying to make any perspective corrections is futile.

Stefano.

Hi Kari,
Oscar took you to a very special place, where also I were with him and with Andante taking photos the last september, and of that we preserve very good recollections.
Your 10mm has worked perfectly to catch the whole impressive beauty of these old Roman columns hidden in a Gothic building.
The very opened angle and the sight upwards give a fantastic perspective and a great graphism to your composition.
A pity that I could not know you personally, perhaps in another occasion.
Great work.
Best regards,
Josep

with different lines, forms and colors
very nice, Kari

Hi Kari.

Hahahhahahaha, the pleasure was mine of course. In fact, it was a pity that Josep or Carlos couldn't meet us...a really pity.

Anyway, you caught, in a lovely way, the atmosphere of the place.

Well done!

Kari,
a very interesting perspective that you got here. I ask myself if you layed dwon on the floor to get it :-)
The lines and differnet layers makes it a very attractive scene.
Peter

Hi Karl...I like the angles and the balance in this shot. You have a nice sense of symmetry.
