Gaudi Park Design
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Antonio Gaudi has left his mark on many of the buildings and structures in Barcelona. Here at Guell Park, built for local businessman there exisit many examples of his unique designs. Here the terrace wall is decorated with ceramic mosaics.
When he graduated as an architect, the Chancellor said he would either be a genius or a crazy man. He turned out to be a genius as anyone seeing his works will know.
Park Güell is a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of el Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, Catalonia. It was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí".

Ah, so Gaudi is not just a designer of mammoth Cathedrals. This is an interesting piece you found Murray. Are those supposed to be hands on the wall with faces looking over it. That is a unique, very cool design, almost like Norwegian Trolls with Spanish ceramic. Nicely done.
Thanks, John
