Relaxing in the park outside the city walls of Visby.

Visby is a former Viking site, early Baltic trading settlement and a fortified commercial city which dominated commerce in the region by the 12th century.The city walls that enclose medieval Visby were constructed in the 13th century and modified during the 14th century.
The church spires in the background belong to the Cathedral of Saint Mary (Sankta Maria Domkyrka in Swedish). Construction of the church began in the late 1100’s. Source http://traveltips.usatoday.com/places-visby-sweden-59182.html
