Photographer’s Note
While driving around in Halland, Sweden, my family and I saw a sign for what we thought would be a burial mound. We pulled over and found our way out to a mass of standing stones over looking a valley (Laholm is probably the largest city in the valley). We were a little surprised when we were met buy a pack of foraging sheep obviously keeping the grass short and green around the historic site. I've also seen this approach to maintenance in Denmark, however these sheep were a lot more friendly than the usual and surrounded us the minute we got close. I'm including another picture in the workshop.
I'd like to say more about the site, but there was no information anywhere to be found, and the sheep weren't talking. The best I can say is that these stones are located on a hill over looking the tiny village of Tjärby on highway 117. Please tell me if you know anything more about them.

Hello Kate,
I like the two sheep, fat and healthy looking watching.
You made a nice photo here of this area, with a good note for information.
Like all the detail of the standing stone.
Black and white is a good choice for this photo.
Including you workshop.
It is good that you stopped to record, also the good looking sheep. Looks as though they have been recently sheared of the long wool. In Scotland similar
Regards
Robert

I like that almost infrared film effect, and the title made me giggle a bit, I have to admit. Really good dramatic monolith and the sheep are perfectly placed.
