Photographer’s Note
Jan Bergerlind is the most productive art painter in Sweden. He works as an illustrator and he also paints Christmas Cards and such. I interviewed him on an art fair in my hometown both last year and recently. As you can see, the Swedish Santa Claus, or Jultomten as he is called here, is a bit different than the American one. Our "tomte" was from the beginning a little helper, who used to help in the barn and the stable.
