Photographer’s Note

I had a short stop in Vadstena earlier this year, and i was very impressed. This old city have so many interesting things to see.
This is the castle built by king Gustav Vasa 1545.

Hello Boa ,
May be the ky is too polarised , but the effect is not bad . And the castle is very impressive . Still more impressive by the low POV . A very interesting place !

Hi Boa, Very nice compostion of the castle. You might consider lightening the shot a bit. The sky is obviously too dark from either saturation or your polarizing ilter or both. You also might correct the distorton in the first tower in the foreground. I really like the shot and sorry if I sound like a critic. Great effort. Roger

Impressive wide, taken from a very appropriate POV. The only flaw I see is a slight overall bluish hue (maybe it's just my monitor).

I like the strong summer colors enhanced by the pol-filter. But I would have waited a bit so the white rubber dinghy gets out of the frame.

Hej Boa,
very good photo! The composition is just great! You chose a very good POV.
Concerning the colours... well, yes, the sky is a bit too polarized which makes the image look too dark (at least, the upper part) ;)
I have been to Vadstena and I liked it very much. Unfortunately my photos taken there in 2000 are not as good as yours, so I am very glad to see such a good image of what I like.

Hej Boa,
Orkar inte skriva på engelska så här på fredgakvällen.
Juste blå färg, vinkeln och noten. Har själv skaffat ett polcirk filter inför resan i sommras till Italen, den blå resan...

That's an excellent photo with natural colours and very good sharpness. The strong contrast between sky and walls of this wonderful castle is just..fantastic. Well done!

HEllo Boa, the polarizer did a great job here creating a wonderful blue bg for this impressive castle. Lovely composition.
