Photographer’s Note
Another photo from my Midsummer evening. One of the most important Swedish public holidays.
They wear traditional costumes. Originaly every little village and area use to have their own most for speciall ocations. I can´t really tell where this costumes comes from, but they belong to a society from Huskvarna
How ever not all of them seems to enjoy the attension...

Hej Stefan,
a very beautiful generation-spanning portrait of the three persons; the expressions on their faces are priceless. These typical Swedish colors are amazing and it was a great idea to include the flag. Wonderful atmosphere of midsummer!

It is really funny to look at the girl here; she does not look very happy at all! But a very good picture compositionwise, with this vertical line! Good colours!
I hope you are enjoying your visit to "the old country" before going back to the antipode!

You found a very good composition for this picture with the people lined up in front of each other against the dark background. It looks like a "live" version of an 19th century painting, especially with the boy holding the flag.
Now you can live on nostalgic memories of Swedish summer to last you another year in South Africa.

both funny and serious scene at the same time! such a curious "triple" portrait! A variety of emotions! but this VERY serious little girl (I'm not sure she's really unhappy) who seems to be looking directly at the photographer is really the gem of this shot! :)
Very interesting shot from many points of view, including the "documentary"!
