Hello Gunnar,
this is a very fine composition, the green and brown tones are blending very well together. The diagonals of the grass and the position of the walker are leading the eye well over the scene.

A beautiful picture with very fine shades of yellow and green among the grass. The woman was exactly what was needed to make this such a fine composition. The water and the trees provide a very nice background. Generally, there is a very pleasant feeling of summer in this picture.

Very fine shot - I like the theme of the human figure set against the majesty of nature. You placed the woman well in the composition, amid all that waving grass, with the shadows and lake in the background. The grass and the person are so sharply detailed. Very nice work and the square crop works really well.

Hello Gunnar,

I just love how this lady is picked out so sharply amongst the horizontal layers of waving grasses! She is perfectly placed in the frame.
Although I like the composition as it is, it would have worked equally well with the b/g cropped.

Wonderful daily life scene. I love the feeling of Swedish summer.The young lady looks really great on her way through the meadow with dry yellow grass. She seems to have something important to thing about. TFS and have a nice evening!

Wonderful!

The placing of the girl in those wonderful brush-strokes of grass is perfect. The foreground does, indeed, look like a fine painting against the beautiful darker background of trees and water.

Very well composed and, as usual, strikingly clear and pin-sharp.

this is a charming scene.Well composed using the rule of thirds with the woman perfectly placed. I like the contrast of light in the bottom two thirds and the darker aea of trees above. The variety of colours of grasses is really nice. Sharp too.

Gunnar,

I'm always attracted by large swathes of grass myself, although it's not always easy to capture their essence. You've partially suceeded in this shot - but there's always a delicate balance to be struck between sharpness and blur when dealing with grass in the wind!

It's such a painterly composition that I'm only left craving a young 19th milk maid rather than the rucksacked modern woman - but I guess you just didn't have a 19th century milk maid to hand! ;0
