Hej Gunnar,
in some ways this photo reminds me of your older post called "Private Lighthouse"... they have something in common :)
This photo is attractive by its colours: deep blue and bright red and white (and whitish) make the main set of colours which determine the joyful palette and mood of the photo :) Even despite the fact that it is dangerous to swim here :)
I like this perspective view... solitude (maybe seeming?) and tranquility ..

This is a well composed shot using the pier to lead the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has excellent sharpness. The inclusion of the sign and safety equipment was a good choice.

Hello Gunnar,
An interesting graphical composition. The dashes of red on triangle and lifebelt help relieve the predominant cool blue tones. I like the shadow play across the jetty and foreground rocks. Excellent sharpness.

Hej Gunnar,
An amusing collection of warning signs and tools for assistance. Also a bit of red against the blue and a slightly diagonal jetty. There are some peculiar and interesting patterns on the grey rock. At a quick glance they look almost like ancient rock-carvings.

Hallo Gunnar,

Another picture which is so typical of your style.

The composition is very satisfying:-

Apart from the sea and the sky, the two main elements here are the jetty with its steps into the water; and the flagpole with the ladder, the circular lifebuoy and the triangular notice.

The flagpole lies on a vertical line of thirds. Your signature red foreground item - the lifebuoy - lies exactly on an intersection of thirds

The ladder hanging slightly askew on the pole, adds a bit of asymmetry.

The sides of the jetty are very strong leads into the picture, and on towards the horizon.

The red of the lifebuoy and the warning notice stands out strongly against the blue of the sea and the sky.

The only weak point – and it's a small one - is that the horizon is close to the middle of the image.

I see the triangle perfect, the sharpness and clarity be superb.
The pier care for a perfect perspective image.
Safety first, a pity every year drown a lot people through inconsiderate by swimming.

What a mass of security devices! It's nearly a bit ridiculous - but but as we say in German: "Vorbeugen ist besser als heilen!" ;-)

At first sight it is a fairly minimal composition, but examination reveals more complexity. All the swimming aids collected together make an amusing mixture. The perspective of the little jetty leads the eye into the scene.

La composition est bien faite pour ce paysage d'une grande simplicité. Le ciel est parfait et l'eau bien rendue. La jetée donne de la profondeur. Les moyens de secours cachent bizarrement le panneau.

An excellent photo in many ways. An excellent composition and perspective, beautiful and natural colours and a lovely sunny atmosphere. Jumping to water is always dangerous, if one is not sure the water is deep enough and that there are no stones, poles or other obstacles, where one can hit oneself badly. Perfect title! :-)
