A really relaxed and calm scene - and somehow a portrait. A cup of cappuccino at the table would make the photo a bit better ;-))
These moments in daily routine are so precious - though news in gazettes today mostly aren't delightful ...

A good shot of this newspaper reader waiting for his morning coffee(?). His red trousers bring a nice splash of colour to the scene. Very good colours and sharpness. A fine daily life image.

I guess the red trousers attracted you, but generally this is a picture in softer colours than you have normally used recently. There is a clear dominance of brown, blue and grey. Relaxing to the eye, suiting the relaxed posture of the reading man.

Hello Gunnar,

A satisfying composition, in that the position of the man's body occupies a strong diagonal from bottom left to top right. The colours here are softer than usual for you, but this makes it a very restful picture.

I won't draw you any diagrams here- you're probably getting fed up with them by now – but I will suggest a small crop from the bottom, that I feel strengthens the composition by putting the man's right hand on to an intersection of thirds.

Hi Gunnar, Nice simple photo. This time you were attracted by the red pants :). we have also a polish edition of metro. I rarely go in the morning to town so i do not read it. I suppose the guy came by bike - he has bike bag (my son has similar one).

Sharp fine details in this well recorded street scene!
The red pants really stands out, one should almost think he planned for this situation when dressing hehehe...
It is interesting how much one can read out of how a person dress, besides I bet he has his bicycle not far away..!

Hi Gunnar, A good everyday street scene such as common all around Europe, from the little i have seen. It is very natural, with the guy filling in a few minutes with the paper before meeting his colleague perhaps. An interesting pose with the scarf showing temperatures dropping. TFS. Murray.
