Photographer's Note

"Slattdalsskrevan" is 200 metres long, 7 metres wide and 40 metres deep. It is a remnant from the ice age and was once (about 10 000 years ago) situated at the coastline - today it has risen to some 250 metres above sea level.

This was also used as one of the location-shots in the film version of Astrid Lindgren's famous book about Ronia, the robber's daughter, as part of the chasm that divides the castle.
