Photographer’s Note

Rotsidan is a four km long coast of rocks with big, soft grinding flat rocks of diabas (art of stone) and rubbled stone. An experience will be to sit here when the storms of autumn is blowing and the wawes is beating in on the flat rocks.
it's also a nature reserv

Jag skulle nog inte kalla det här för skog, inte ens som holländare, vi som knappast har riktigt skog ;)
Bilden är väldigt bra komponerat däremot med dn stora träden i första hälften av bilden och de 4 mindre på linje längre bak i bilden. Om de 2 människor skulle ha varit träderna emellan skulle det kanske ha varit ännu bättre. Jag gillar de nästan egalt mörka möln, ger en bra effekt här. Det verkar dock som om de 4 mindre träd är lite för grå.

very exquisite view. The way you play with the horizon line and the trees results in this attractive image! The inclusion of the couple brings reference for the size of all that. Great luminosity and saturation. Well done!

All this wilderness in northern Sweden, totally unknown to me. In this picture I like the tremendous variety of colours in the sparse vegetation and the line of trees against the horizon.

There is a great depth in this picture with the nearest tree framing the regular line of more distant trees and then the sea as a background. Is there a person standing to the left, with red cap and blue jacket? He or she should have been closer to the camera, might have been a fine part of the motive, if more visible.

Hello Anders,
the landscape with these trees seems a bit fantastic... or fairy-talish (like many of your photos, which is definitely your profi-style!)
This photo could be an excellent painting: by a special warm colour gamma, by a very interesting composition and the mood which it conveys.

I like the small (most propably very young) trees in the distance; their light green colour makes them look fragile, as compared to the tree in the foreground. It's a wise tree which knows and has seen a lot :)
