Photographer’s Note

A couple of foundations lef over from a power line that was taken down long ago. As the stand in the river they are not so easy to remove but at the same time they are standing in the middle of a nature reserve.

Anyway, their conical shape and repeated shape give them a sculptural touch in the landscape. The first snow came last week so now they have matching clothes too.

Used a small aperture to get a long shutterspeed to blur the river behind. The autumn has ben fairly wet on high grounds so the river is flowing rapidly at the moment.
