Photographer’s Note

This is Mariefred which stands by Lake Mälaren. In the background is Mariefred Church which was built in 1624-97.
The name "Mariefred" is derived from that of the former Carthusian monastery here, Mariefred Charterhouse, and means "Peace of Mary" (the former name was Gripsholm).

Hello Marina,
I like also blue and his harmony with the natural green. The composition is balanced. I like the peaceful atmosphere suggested by the reflection without wrinkles, the small village and the silhouettes. The image is very clear and of a very good realization. Cheer.

Hi Marina,
this view is very picturesque, and I only wish I had managed to get to Mariefred during all these years! It is a must-to-to during my next visit :)
In my opinion, there is a good "triangle" which is formed by the tree on the left, the tree in the center and finally the church in the background (plus the reflection in the water!). The overall impression is very nice - such a fine sunny day full of very rich autumnal colours!

Bonjour Marina,
la vue est reposante, l'endroit bien choisi et photogénique. Dommage que le dessus cet arbre soit coupé, des fois un assemblage de deux images verticalement puis un crop , permettent de regagner du champ.
Des blancs un peu surexposés dans le fond.

Looks very peaceful to me. Nice colors and good sharpness. The litle creek bordered by the trees leads us straight into the picture.
