Photographer’s Note
The "Knotted Gun" Disarmament sculpture (Non-Violence) is a bronze sculpture, located on Sergelgatan in Stockholm.
Created by Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd. Unveiled by HRH Crown Princess Victoria 4th of December 1995.
The same design also can be found at Gothenberg and Malmö Sweden.
It is also placed outside the headquarters of the United Nations in New York, USA and in Berlin, Germany.
Located in The Museum of Sketches in Lund, Sweden, is a sketch of the firearm where Reuterswärd has written that the grieving after John Lennon was murdered inspired him to design this artwork.

Hello Ismojo.
There is not a revolver with the barrel so long as to be folded so il is in this sculpture. But this one is appreciable for its message and the picture is well made with a selective focus enhancing the subject.
Best regards.
Bobo.

Ciao dear Ismojo,
excellent photo of this symbol of the Non-Violence.
I like a lot the POV, almost a macro, that allows us to admire the details well defined of this sculpture. You have had a good idea, realized in pleasant way. Compliments!
Ciao, have a nice day!

Hi Ismojo,
i think everyone should keep this picture in his mind, and live this way, but this will be a dream forever, sadly.
This is a fine image with fine sense for the important things. TFs

Hello Ismojo,
A fine capture of this unusual and thought provoking work of art. The point of view is well chosen and you have controlled the depth of field well to lift it from the background. The details of the gun can be appreciated fully thanks to the excellent clarity in this area. Well done.

Hi Ismojo
A well taken image using your equipment to the best, would look even greater @ f/2.8 but you took it well using zoom and aperture possibilities of your lens
Have a nice day JY

Superb sculpture, and great idea to promote it.
The POV is great, and having pedestrians behind mask the actual scale of it ;)
