Photographer's Note

Coming from the small town Sveg, driving on the country road 84 in direction Hede you will have this view. A few kilometers from Sveg there is a resting place for motorists, left of the road.

There, at the beginning of April this year I climbed on a sturdy wooden table in the picnic area and photographed in several sections this landscape. You can see the nearly 1300 meters high mountain Sonfjället, which dominates the landscape in this part of Härjedalen. In the west you can find higher mountains and a glacier, but Sonfjället and the National Park around it is known for one of the highest bear populations in Sweden.

After the film was returned from the development I had scanned some photos and put them together by a technique called stitching. Nice panoramic images can be produced with it.

Unfortunately my position was not high enough. A few trees obstruct a clear view into this landscape.
