Photographer’s Note

Good geography for having a boat? The Swedish coastline is aprox 2 700 km, together with all the islands (about 60 000) it gives about 8000 km of shores. If you after that add the 95 000 lakes were its possible to have a boat, and the 1 000 km of channels, you realise that its not strange you can find over 1 000 000 small boats for pleasure purpose.

The photo is taken along the european highway E4 at Huskvarna. Its a most beautiful roadtrip to take, but standing beside is not always enjoyable...

Although the fast running truck might have disturbed the peace of the moment, to the picture it added one more interesting effect!

Boats and water, always an unbeatable combination for TE! I can imagine the traffic is disturbing you here, but if you get far away you can probably avoid it and then you might have a chance of catching a char or two!

Hi Stefan,
a nice shot, the colors are lovely and warm and you had great light conditions. I really like the reflections of the boats in the water and that truck of course! I`m just wondering what shutter spped you had, if I have a look at the truck I think it would be something like 1/20, am I right? So nice shot, I like it a lot!

I like your composition to show the row of colorful boats and a fast train in blur motion. Very well captured with calm reflection and a fine weather for this contrast. The boats look very small size and for personal recreation use?
