Photographer’s Note
Following on from my previous posting I couldn’t resist showing another shot from the lakeside village of Ligerz. As you might imagine from this shot, the main attraction of this place is its wine, and the picturesque setting where it is allowed to grow! Twenty different varieties of grape are grown in this area around the Bielersee, with Chasselas (55%) and Pinot Noir (34%) being the most abundant.
Having wandered amongst the golden vines, now mostly empty of fruit, this is one of the views I enjoyed. The small railway line is a funicular which runs up the steep hill between the vines.

Nice range of colors! I like the POV and the depth of field and the sharpness. The lake is calm and looks very peaceful. TFS.

Hi Susanna!
This is very well composed image with the autumnal wineleafs in the foreground and the repetition in the valley.Good sharpness overall and a great view above the lake at the distance.

Susanna
Amicalement

Hi Susanna,
Beautiful autumn photo showing vines with red and orange tones. Good high viewpoint. I like the division of view to foreground middle field and background.

This is a wonderful layered image of the vine leaves, then the vineyards below, followed by the lake and the Island's reads like a portrait of the country. Regards Kevin

A nice add-on to the previous one, Susanna. Even without a church spire (that provided a good compositional anchor), this one works well due to the way in which it illustrates the autumnal variety of wine colors, and due to the perspective impression resulting from your framing that includes the foreground vines and pole. Nice soft light and natural colors all around.

Hello Suzanna,
Quelle belle photo! De très jolies couleurs automnales qui contrastent bien avec le lac.
Un tout bon pov et cadrage.
Excellent week end

Exquisite! You almost have two separate pictures here, where the lower grape farm is one of them. I agree, the golden vines in the foreground at this angle are spectacular. Nice depth at f/7 for this size enlargement.
