Hello Nikki
Ha ha, I like this cropped view with the swan looking curiously at this fork. A simple but very effective and humorous interpretation. I haven't even looked at my photos yet - got home quite late and then watched the tennis! Was great to see you again yesterday.

J'ai découvert cette étonnante fourchette pour la première fois cet après-midi et j'apprécie ton cadrage serré.
C'est super d'avoir pu y inclure ce cygne, qui semble venir voir ce qui se passe.

rigolo celui-là. J'aime bien la couleur verte du lac ainsi que le reflets sur la fourchette géante. L'attitude du cygne est ad hoc, dommage qu'il ne soit pas un plus près, la relation serait plus évidente au premier coup d'oeil. Bien vu ceci dit.

Le cadrage serre est aussi une bonne methode pour ne pas montrer les environs de la scene, comme ca tu peux ecrire dans ta note "par une chaleur etouffante et sous un soleil radieux"... c'est bien d'avoir inclus le cygne pour equilibrer, vu le sujet on dirait que tu as envie de manger un cygne... ;-)

Surrealistic: Lets say you have a green soup with an alive duck to eat with pork and not spoon. Yeap that completes the picture no doubt!! ;)

Funny, i saw also the fork from Dominique, seems you were shooting together and had a nice mini-meeting.
I never seen this kind of art before and i have to admit that i like it a lot. This more close-up shows nice detail, bit also that swan is so well composed, no luck, timing..!!!

A Spoon seems more appropriate here. Great image regardless. Love the very nice blue green lake, the swan difinitely give the sense of scale to the fork. Good composition, good sharpness and clarity. Excellent work. Thanks.

Mais non, il n'y pas plu tant que ça hier, le lac n'a pas débordé :)
Pauvre cygne, j'ai l'impression que tu vas n'en faire qu'une bouchée ogresse Nikki...
Une compo efficace et équilibré, un poil trop serré il me semble.
Bon, je te laisse, faut que j'aille voter pour qqun dans un certain concours coop... :)

I like seeing unusual things in common places. :-) Nice composition combining this giant fork and the tiny swan. He really does look confused about the large utensil sticking out of the water! Are there other things in the lake such as spoons and knives??!

C'est excellent ce crop serré et la présence du cygne dans l'angle. Le titre est aussi très bien choisi. C'était très sympa de vous revoir tous et c'est juste dommage que le soleil n'était pas de la partie. A refaire....

Un joli traitement sur cette fourchette. J'aime beaucoup le petit point créé par le cygne dans l'extrème droite. la couleur de l'eau est excellente.

seems that le Lac Léman is full of artwork lately - the soccer ball in Geneva, now this fork. I like it, especially that you waited for the swan to enter the frame and provide a scale. perfect light management, the metal of the fork shines without being overexposed. very nice work, my compliments.

Bien ce cadrage sérré qui inclu le cygne!ça renforce encore le coté surrealiste,bravo aussi pour le PP qui comble le manque de bonne lumiere de ce jour là...c'etait un plaisir de vous revoir même par ce mauvais temps,je suis repassé dans le Lavaux vendredi matin trés tot,c'etait un grand plaisir pour moi,j'ai même discuté un peu avec un viticulteur qui etait deja au travail...
