Lorraine Bridge in Bern

Over the river Aar which crossses the city of Bern are built several bridges.
The first one we can see is the Lorraine-Bridge which has been built around 1930 by the architect Robert Maillart in a very modern technic for the time.
Behind this bridge we can see another, which is the Railway bridge.

Hello Anne, a nice image under the bridge here with nice autumn colors for me it's a different view of Bern as i knew it. Only one question: what's with the stick in the left side?

Hallo Anne,
ein schönes Bild dieser imposanten Brücke, die tatsächlich sehr modern wirkt, wenn man das Baujahr berücksichtigt. Mir gefällt der Kontrast von dem sonnenbeschienenen Vordergrund und dem dunklen Himmel im Hintergrund. Das kleine Haus am Flussufer gefällt mir ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Person rechts im Bild gibt ein gutes Gefühl für die enorme Größe der Brücke. Gut gemacht.
