This photo was taken just before preparing the landing on the Airfield of Buttwil (well not me of course), a romantic little place with a grass strip and a restaurant (a pretty rustic one). I loved the tiny carpet of snow on these fields, you could still see the grass through which gave it a nice pattern I think.

Hi Barbara - yes I like the simple graphism of this from the air shot - the variety of lines and shapes and the way they play against each other - for some reason it reminds me spontaneously of the painter Paul Nash...just some reference to the way he depicted landscapes.

Hi Barbara, excellent aerial view!!! it's hard understand what is from the thumbnail!!!
excellent contrast light and good focus.

The thumbnail was a total mystery for me. Even the large shot took a moment ot two to figure out. But hey, good shot. Was this shot through a window? Because the quality here is excellent. The photo has the look of a modern art painting..very abstract despite not being abstract at all.
