This is excellent. You don't need a lot of colour to show us this place in silhouettes against the foggy background. I like the effect that the fog has on the mountains, rendering them as layers of dfferent depth.

aerial perspective takes over here and makes a good backdrop to the well defined shadow area...not too black..good
the gentle contrast is a fine way to make a soothing and pleasant shot.

Joli ombre chinoise de ces deux magnifiques colines. Les deux flancs de montagne en dégradé bleu, font un effect saisissant et surtout casse la monotonie d'un fond uniforme.

Very fine photo Jean; magnificent shades peeling away inlayers from your sillouhetted subject - very effective - in some ways very simple - such an image could be created with maybe four coloured pieces of card and a pair of scissors - and, I grant you, a far deal of skill!

I like this one very much JR. The special landscape in this setting and play of light and shadows. Of course the buildings at the tops are good additional details. Tight cropping, well disposed compo.

It's nice to see the higher mountains in the background, with brighter colors. It'ss a kind of opposite perspective, which looks to me very nteresting and attractive. Very nice one, JR.
