Photographer’s Note
After presenting the Matterhorn and a train, then Matterhorn and a dog, here's the Matterhorn and an helicopter.
I had the opportunity to assist to a spectacular operation, during the installation of chairlifts poles on the slopes of Riffelberg. The helicopter was flying back and forth, transporting metal structures that assemblers waited to install.
You can see in the workshop a team ready to bolt the structure on pre-installed base. The whole operation lasted no more than 45 minutes for a complete chairlift line... An impressive demonstration of Swiss efficiency.
Next time, Matterhorn and Monica Bellucci.

A truly awesome shot. It has a certain sense of simplicity. We've seen the Matterhorn so many times before but I've never seen it like this. Great shot and there's really nothing to improve here.

Superbe photo, Andre!

Bon week-end.

Hi Andre,
Hmmm...for sure something i never have seen there. I think also that thing is disturbing the peace, it makes more noise than all those Japanse together who are on the Gornergrat ;-)
A funny picture, that's why you uploaded it i think...
Have a great weekend, Henk
p.s
Next time you and Jenna Jameson? ;-)

Bien vu !

Interesting shot! Your timing must have been perfect to be able to catch the helicopter at the exact moment that it flew over the peak of the mountain. Great lighting and colour too. Well done!

A timely capture, Andre, you were just in time to click the shutter in the very fraction of a second to have the helicopter and the summit on the same axis.
Cheers

Pierre
