Photographer’s Note

The Vufflens castle you see on this picture is one of the three major castles to be found in the Vaud canton of Switzerland, together with Chillon on the lake Geneva shore and Champvent.

You see it here surrounded by vineyards in glowing fall colors but since this place is visited often by prominent TE members, I believe some nice winter versions are due soon... stay tuned!

If you need some local guides, you can always count on Nikki and Toni. Actually, you can see Nikki in this image, just next to the centered little tree, wearing a swiss red t-shirt...

She didn't know I was shooting this cyclist, since she was looking in the direction of the castle, but with mental communication and photographic vibes, she shot the same cyclist!!! So telepathy really can exists between Nikonists and Canonists...

Often shown, but always again beautiful! The includued cyclist gives a good and dynamic addition to this impressive castle. In combination with your note a wonderful contribution!

Salut mon bon cousin duplicateur,
Entre nos posts et ce qu'on va voir a partir de demain ils vont froler l'overdose de Vufflens nos amis de TE, pire que les Fagnes... belle image avec action et profondeur mais je vois que t'as toujours pas trouve la Ferrari rouge, il va falloir attendre le passage de Bibi ;-)

Je vis que nos Amis Tony et Nikki t'ont aussi amené dans leurs lieux privilégiés. C'est par eux que j'ai connu Vufflens et son merveilleux château que tu as parfaitement cadré ici. J'ai une photo semblable avec Nikki... en rouge ;o)

Hello Andre.
A very well composed shot with the cyclist in the perfect balancing position. The colours are rich and the winding path makes a great lead-in to the imposing castle. The clarity is good but you have avoided over-sharpening and using too much contrast. Really, a wonderful shot.

Pour reconnaitre Nikki il faut une méga loupe !!!!
J'avoue que sans ton intervention je ne l'aurais pas reconnue. par contre je reconnais parfaitement la sangle noire et jaune de son D50 ;-)
Comme quoi les mondes Nikon et Canon peuvent exister en parfaite harmonie.

Hi again my friend,
A famous castle which i have seen many times here, but i have never been there, maybe a next visit. Although your exposure and colours are a bit soft, i like your framing with the cyclist, the tree on the right and the castle placed in the center. You had two perfect guides here, making things lots easier when you have to find your way around....

Tu m'as workshoppé grrrr. En plus en tenue Canoniste. Lol, ta note sur la télépathie.
Cela fait plaisir pour voir le château comme cela car aujourd'hui lorsque nous nous sommes arrivés aux arbres, on voyait.... rien. Même pas les vignes au premier plan. Après une balade dans le Lavaux où il faisait grand beau. Au retour à Vufflens... c'était couvert. Donc tu as eu de la chance.
Ta version du cycliste est sympa et j'aime comment l'arbre cadre le château mais je trouve que je fais un peu tache.
Bonne soirée et nous penserons à toi lorsque nous mangeons la tortilla. On notera la recette pour toi.

Vous vous êtes donné le mot avec Jean Yves!Bon cadrage et tu as bien fait d'attendre le passage du cycliste qui "meuble" un peu la route. Bon, la petite tache rouge suisse gène un peu....qu'est-ce qu'ils ne feraient pas ces nikonistes pour qu'on les remarque!(j'aime quand même bien la version grand angle de Nikki)

Je vois que vous vous êtes retrouvé aux abords de ce chateau ! Ta prise de vue est pleine de vie grâce à ce cycliste ! J'apercois tout de même et trekker en rouge entrain de pixelisé ce superbe chateau !
