Photographer’s Note

Lucerne is a peaceful small city in the heartland of Switzerland, where legend has it William Tell shot an apple off of his son's head.

On this photo, you can see Jesuitenkirche, with its twin onion-domed towers, the first large sacral Baroque church in Switzerland constructed in 1666 for the Jesuits. It is located on the south bank of the Reuss, in a triangular area known as the Kleinstadt, originally walled.
