You managed the exposure really well here Kari, especially the way you managed to retain detail in the flames and the dark shadow areas at the same time.
What I like best though, is the way you captured the water - it looks like a torrent, and any more movement blur would have spoiled the effect.
Perhaps the rest of the image is a bit of an anti-climax in comparison with the dramatic water, but a very well-taken image nonetheless.

Kari,
this is a scenery that is very well known to me. I have been to all of these places including to the top of the Rigi and not with the gondola bu hiking up in 4 hours. The view of Lucern is beautiful from the top as well as from any angle of the city. You POV is certainly a quite different one - sure a novel one - and I like it a lot.

I see you are into night mode at the moment. This is a beauty taken in the blue hour. I love the effect of the slow shutter on the water. The flame torches make a nice change from tungsten lights. Well done

This is a well balanced composition with great light management, warm attractive colours and fine details...
