Photographer’s Note

This church is consecrated to soldiers perished in local wars, in particular in Chechnya. It was inaugurated on 23 Aug. 2008, when 65th anniversary on liberation of Kharkiv from Nazi occupation was celebrated.

The construction working took 9 months. The crosses were made in the West Ukraine, while the bells were cast in Donetsk. The height of the church is 26 m. It can house 250 parishioners. A separate belfry is to be built in near feature. Also it is planed to add more wall paintings.
