Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

This photograph was taken at Dunham Massey.

Please click Reflections of Dunham Massey to see the much larger, clearer Beta photograph.

Dunham Massey is a large, Georgian hall with a medieval moat and a walled park. It is built on high ground, in a naturally defensive position, controlling the Chester to Ribchester Roman road, and has been continuously occupied since Saxon Times.

My view shows the large stable block, leading to the clock tower, reflected in the surrounding moat.
It was a wonderful day for photography, with the low November sun producing excellent light and shadows.

I hope you enjoy sharing this photograph as much as I enjoyed taking it, with kind regards, Bev :-)
