This is picture was taken from the Ambleside pier on Lake Windermere, while waiting for the lake cruise to Bowness. The sky was rather grey that day, but the lake shows another side of its beauty in a cloudy day.
Lake Windermere is the largest natural lake in England and is more than 10.5 miles (16.8 km) long. It is fed by a number of rivers, including Brathay, Rothay and Trout Beck. It is drained by the river Leven
