Photographer's Note

Just one more visit to the Garden House at Buckland Monachorum, near Plymouth.

The house and gardens that form the Garden House were bought in the 1940's by Lionel and Katharine Fortescue. Over the next 40 years they created a garden which was, and continues to be, viewed as one of the finest in the country.

Now closed for a few weeks, it will re-open when the spring bulbs begin to show. Although we were very surprised to see a few snowdrops in flower, at the end of October!

Additional shots in the workshop.

Thanks for looking.
