London telephone boxes, a photo from London, England

Photographer's Note

We are at Leicester Square,London. These two girls were just advancing towards the telephone cabins and chatting: I followed them until they got close enough, and tried to combine a shot where the blond head and the cabins would fit nicely. Her hair is not too sharp, because it seems that she moved a bit. I used a fiil-in flash.

I'm sure Galatasaray fans will enjoy the colors in this one. This is another fine product of your stalking efforts. The composition works well, and the soft hair accentuates motion. There is a hint of flare above the phone booths. I guess you used a zoom lens. Well done. Regards,

This is an interesting idea Izzet. I too like the contrast between the red phone boxes and the golden hair. I also like the blurred golden hair acting as a pleasing contrast to the motionless phone box. The only thing I'd change though is being a bit more heavy handed with the cropping. I think theres a little too much going on outside of the main themes.

Comme quoi, il faut avoir son appareil sur soi pour saisir des moments étonnants.
Il fallait avoir le coup d'oeil pour obtenir un tel résultat. J'aime l'originalité de cette prise de vue. Excellent jeu de couleurs.

If you ask someone to summarize London in one photo, it is quite difficult to get better result than this one.

Blonde/Red hair + Traditional red phone boxes + Grey air + Green texture of the trees = London (at least from my point of view).
