Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This will be my last post from Beadnell for the time being.

Please click on The Lady in Pink to enjoy the picture much bigger and clearer.

This photograph shows the extent of the lime kilns and how close they were to the harbour, ready for the lime to be transported by boat to its destinations.

I was so pleased that the lady in pink presented me with a fine focal point. Her colourful fleece can hardly be ignored! Also, her friends gazes follow her direction, giving her further attention. I wonder if she had seen seals swimming nearby, which is always a possibility.

In the background is the lovely Beach Court B&B. It's distinctive appearance often features on adverts for Beadnell.

As a workshop, I will add a bit of playful photography of a fishing boat's reflections.

Have a lovely day Bev :-)
