[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Hello Everyone,

Here is a second photograph taken at Beadnell Harbour. This time, the evening was drawing to a close and there was only just enough light left to allow me to capture this very tranquil and atmospheric scene.

The stilness and calm were almost tangible. There was no-one around and all that could be heard was the intermitent rocking of the boat and the gentle movement of the tide in the distance.

For further information about Beadnell, please see my previous posting.

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph.
Bev :-)

Good Morning Beverley,
the gradient in the sky is beautiful and the thin line of light looks as a wound and adds a lot of mood. Your note is good to let us enjoy the tranquillity and the delicate sound of the tide, with the pier creating the diagonal to lead the eye through the compo. Well done.
Thanks for sharing it and have a great weekend.

Igor

Hi Beverley,
the lonely boat and the moody colours create not only the atmopshere of calmness but also of sadness! It is a very beautiful composition to meditate on!
Have a nice weekend.
Warm regards
Harriet

You chose a good title as that is what I was going to say; there is "just enough light" to be able to see some details in the scene. There is the boat and what appears to be lobster pots on the jetty and we can see across the bay to the sand dunes. I like the gradation of the colours in the sky with tones of purple and orange. Very tranquil.

Hi Bev,
You clicked just in the nick of time to get this great capture.
The sky is indeed very tranquil with its georgous varying shades of purple blue and gold providing just enough light to make out the details of harbor stone and lobster traps.
The little green boat adds nice scale to the very peaceful image.
Regards, Tom

Hello Bev,
Many thanks for sharing this tranquil and peaceful atmosphere over the harbour with the moment of the setting sun over it!
good clarity, nice colour and details in the shot
have a wonderful weekend, Bev!
best regards
Tony

Hi Beverly,
nice to catch the special light, a smaller framing may have a greater impact.
