Taken early morning i arrived late and nearly returned home disapointed without shooting anything.It is a shot of the cut at Cresswel in Northumberland.

It would have been a pity to have gone home and missed this!
The light is just good enough for your purpose of highlighting the wonderful textured patterns in the sand.
The composition, with ultimate emphasis on the sand and using the channel as a 'lead in' is very well executed. I like it very much.
