Photographer's Note

Passing by this 15 century's house, I could resist taking a photo.I used to buy postcards when I visited places, but nowadays they are hard to find after digital... So, I made one of my own...:-) I didn't find out much about the building, apart from it's a hotel.

Well, this is a terrific do-it-yourself postcard, isn't it? There's a great threatening sky above. Superb textures on the chimneys that stick out against it. And the old house/pub/hotel itself just is the works. Superb sharpness & contrasts.

With this sort of place...I just couldn't resist popping in for a drink, or two.

The architecture of this house is remarkable . Despite of the poor light , you've captured a splendid post card of it . The framing is just perfect .

Who needs postcards when you can take pictures as good as this?

This is a perfectly exposed and nicely composed shot of this attractive looking building. The details and sharpness are superb and the colours vibrant and true to life. You have managed to preserve some colour in the sky too which is nice - so often skies like this become pure white and totally uininteresting.
