Holy Island of Lindisfarne is a tidal island accessible by road on a low tide. The island receives more than 500000 visitors every year. The main attraction is Lindisfarne castle built in the 1550's.
Castle is a national trust property and open to the public.

Great view.I like the composition and DOF.I like the contrast between the sky and the green.Good colors,light and sharpness.I like the detail of the persons and the sheeps.Good job!

Kari, I lived in Newcastle for 6 years (1989-1995) and I know this place well. You've done a really nice job of showing it how it really is. My only suggestion for improvement is for you to trim the bottom of the photo and lose the fence - you'd be surprised how much that would 'open-up' the photo. Nice shot, though. Paul.
