Paddington with cranes
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Cranes had a gathering behind the Paddington station. I wonder what they were up to?
Small details of the cranes and wires made noise removal difficult. Finally I decided to leave it there. And sharpening made it more prominent. Some add noise on purpose, so I guess there's some charm in it. Or maybe it's only allowed on street scenes with people?
Desaturated and toned. |

Nice composition Kari! It's very industrial which is one of my favourite kinds of photography. The structure in the foreground distracts a bit. Nice effect!
Cheers!
Hi Kari,
I love this industrial shots. This is very good , Bravo , it's looks like your cranes are fightning, the very dark sky is very nice and your compo too.

Hi Kari
This is a great looking industrial caption
It looks like it was taken a long time ago
Your POV is very god and so is your presentation

Hey !! This is really good, I like it very much...
Good compo , is a little bit confusing this scene, is ...strange and interesting.
You could have put a title like ... "Welcome to The Machine" as the Pink Floyd song or "The rise of the Machines" or something like that...
Pretty good photo...

Very interesting shot, Kari. The black and white/sepia tone works well here. The grain/noise adds an abstract flavor to the scene.
7 cranes in such restraint space and still no mix up...Well there must be a good planner on the ground.
I tried to give unplanned movement to the cranes in the workshop.
