Photographer's Note

Armagh Cathedral lit up at night, this was taken about 6.00pm on winters night, I hadn't got my sony camera long and this was one of the test shots I took to try out night mode.
This is the Catholic Cathedral and on the hill opposite is the much older Church of Ireland Cathedral which was taken over in the dissolution of the church by Henry VIII, the building of this Cathedral was stopped due to the famine in the 1840s but was restarted and completed by primate McGettigan around the start of the 20th century.
The only work carried on the photo was a slight cropping and resized to upload.
