Photographer's Note

Parked next to Stanley Harbour in the Falkland Islands this bus was about 7900 miles from home. I used to catch the 38 when working in London, in goes from Clapham Pond to Victoria Station. The Routemaster was introduced in the 1950s, it was very popular because it had an open doorway at the back so you could get on and off at traffic lights or when stuck in a queue.
