* Falls of Cruach Tairbeirt Walks *

| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
I just got back from a great walk in the hills around Arrochar and Tarbet in Argyll and Bute area. It rained a little at mid day but the rain held off for most of the afternoon. The lighting was great and diffused through clouds.
There are many walks around the area and all highly recommended, cant wait to get back up there!
I got this from using the POD to stabilize my cam and took 2 second exposure with a low f-stop to capture the flow.
Have a great weekend! |

Hello, Paul.
I like this one a lot. The colours are just superb as is the lighting on those rocks and that water in the foreground. There's a wonderful sense of movement in the foreground water and a sense of calm in the water which lies behind.
I find that the whole picture has a magical quality to it. Very nice indeed.
It sounds like you have fallen in love with this place!
Best Wishes,
John.

Hi Paul,
When I was in Blacksea about a month ago, we had long walks around plateaus and what I like the most in these walks was finding water streams to get into by feet... And my only regret about the trip is missing the chance of shooting stream with long exposure...
Like nature is laying over a sheet of silk...
Congrats,
Burcu
Paul,
you have a very nice collection with a huge variety in style. It seems to me that you dominate every single of it quite well. I like this here a lot! The light management is extraordinarilly well done. Curious to see that you choose no to use a polarizing filter to get rid of the light reflection on the rocks, BUT that is exactly what makes this shot so brilliant. Personally, I think that the background is a little bit to dark and would go well with some dodging.
