Photographer's Note

In the past Leith was the port for Edinburgh, importing and exporting goods to the outside world. It was a rough, tough area as most ports were. But nowadays that has changed a lot. There has been a lot of development and the dockside area is now a place where people sit and enjoy relaxing in the cafes and pubs (such as boats in the picture). If you feel like walking around, hearing the seagulls and filling your nostrils with the seaweed smell then this is a great place to spend an afternoon.
