Photographer's Note

We are again in Scotland today. A street scene taken furtively at the Grassmarket, which is right under the castle of Edinburgh. It was quite a dull morning and the street was not too crowded: I believe that red telephone cabins are always a good place to start if taking typical pictures of the UK. I had no tripod on that morning.

I like this one. It is simple but is a perfect street scene, as you say.
The phone box, the moving carm, and the walking lady.
then the flowers nicely pair with the red of the telephone bioxes, and the yellow-orange of the car, blurred with the motion effect, give the colors. Excellent

Good to see the red telephone boxes still surviving in Edinburgh - in pairs too! Unfortunately they are a thing of the past in most places . They certainly make this scene come alive and are set off beautifully by the soft grey tones of the stone buildings which make up the rest of the picture.
Very good, true, colours.

Hi Izzet.

Something really typical from UK: the red telephone cabin. I like the effect of the yellow car (a taxi I suppose?)

öncelikle göze çarpan kırmızı renk kombinasyonu ve mükemmel bir bakış açısı var karenizde.telefon kulübeleri ve pencerelerde yer alan çiçeklerin kırmızı renkleri çok güzel görünüyor.ayrıca hareket halindeki bayan ve köşeden kadraja giren araç nefis bir hareketlilik yaratmış.gerçekten son derece güzel bir kompozisyon elinize sağlık.
bu arada galata kulesinden çektiğim istanbul by nigth(40)fotografımla ilgili bir kaç soru sormuşsunuz size cevaben(reply)yanıt yazdım okursanız çok sevinirim.

İzzet Bey Merhaba,
Neredeyse karşılacakmışız,10-13 Tem.da Edinburgh taydık otelimiz kalenin hemen arkasında olduğundan yürüyerek 3 gün her sabah kahvaltıya kadar 2 saat tek başıma sadece çöpçülerin olduğu bu caddelerde dolaşıp fotoğ.çektim.Bu bakımdan kareniz çok anlamlı ve güzel,teşekkürler paylaşımınız için

Wonderfull compo. Great colors and super compo. The moving in car gives a vitality to that shot, completed with bright red colors of telephone booths !
