Good Morning Treks!

No this is not a protest, this is someone advertising their show at the Edinburgh Festival. There were people everywhere handing out flyers to attract the public. They enjoyed attention especially from photographers. This guy is advertising his show "Silence in G Major".
This sums up my experience of the Edinburgh Festival this year for me. Lots of people, sunshine and amusing people walking around all in a sort of colourful monotone way :p
Have a great day and if you don’t like this b&w version - you have the chance to see it in colour in the workshop!

I do prefer the b&w in this case as it focuses more on the performer, without the distractions behind being so obvious.

Howdy Paul!
Good idea. Very good job. Great effect.
Original sepia.
Regards!

for the same reason of Alastair i do prefer this sepia version
without the note, we could guess it's a political purpose (or TE owners when server is down)

I would almost always opt for colour but I have to agree with you that the monotone seems more appropriate here. When I opened the colour version I was immediately assailed by the riot of colour in the background, taking away from the subject. I love the expression you captured on the guy's face.

Hi Paul,
Unusual and original, it looks more like a journalists demonstration in front of a chinese embassy... nice and somewhat different photo, having it in BW reduces the slight OE I think.
Have a nice day JY

Hello Paul,

A superb portrait. The glance of the young boy is very expressive and very well collected. I like too the decor with the another people in the BG, this people gives an interresting element of life.
Best regards,
Roger

Hello Paul,

I find this very fine that you the colour picture show in WS.
Not everyone like it B & W, also here I find your colour picture the best.
Very well advertisement for the festifal, I was also wrong, I thought also to a protest.
Very well done, TFS.

Have a nice weekend,
John.
