i can see your faces now, they all are saying "this castle? not again!", well, i can't help myself and i couldn't then. i never went beyond this point that you can see on the photograph, i've never went by that bridge. we had only about 40 minutes to get estonished by the castle, take the photos of it (what as you can see is a very hard work;), go to the toilet and finaly : visit it. i've done my best, but i didn't want to go there, inside. all the others of that guided trip to Skye that i was on, did, and that was enough. for me this castle is left not taken/ untaken (?) .. you know what i mean, don't you? :)) have a good weekend!

Good lead in using the pathway Aneta .. great clarity too .. maybe just a little dark though

Hi Aneta,

Overall, a really good picture...nice tones, not too dark, although the large stones in the foreground are dark and would have benefited from a crop. I like the your eye takes you along the pathway leading to the castle! Good Looking Shot :)

Did you mean "unconquered"? Nice perspective with the bridge inviting to "take" the castle. I was going to bet that next picture would be from inside...surprise here.
Do not show so many and so good photos, everybody will be expecting something better in the future, might be difficult :-).
Chris

Hi Aneta,
Very good composition. I wish the light conditions were better when you took the photo.

Özlem

Beautiful place, beautiful composition. The sky seem blown but it is unavoidable I think. Congratulations!

The darkness works very well with this subject. I think you made the wise choice toleave it a little dark, as you would have lost some of the atmosphere of the old castle. Rodney

Hi Aneta, I don,t think anyone will say "not that castle again" because the photos are excellent, the POV on this shot is superb & the depth very good, I like the composition & great focus, subtle framing finishes the photo off well, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Aneta,
Nice shot of the famous Scottish castle.
Good depth of field, so it's a pity for the blurred parts of the stone fence and tree branches.
I like your point of view as the path leads us naturally to the castle.
You managed very well here considering the difficutl lighting conditions due to cloudy weather.

Hi Aneta,
Good POV and sharpness. You have used the wall well to frame the shot.

Hello Aneta!
I´ll never get enough of this beautiful castle! The pov is great, maybe it would be nicer without people on the bridge but I think within the opening hours you´ll never have the chance to take a picture without people on it.
Anyway, thanks for sharing!
Regards, Nina

very powerful!

Hi Aneta,
Difficult to have the structure stand out from this grey scottish weather !
I like here the idea of the composition using this leading ramp towards the castle, the out of focus branches at the top left are a bit bothering, but are not too difficult to clone away to free the view.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Que linda imagem e construção!
Gosto muito do seu ponto de vista... e as cores e a textura e a pessoa no fundo... tudo muito muito bonito!

Um abraço do Brasil,
Luciana.

You have soem nice images from the Uk Aneta, this is particulary pleasign to the eye. I like the composition and POV using the path to lead towards the castle and the peopel along the way are a plus. i would say that the OOF branches are a min point, but there was nothign you could do.

Hello Anetta,
